Industrial Smash: brawl bounty by Momo-mole Industrial Smash: brawl bounty by Momo-mole
Part one of a two bookmark set for the Industrial Smash Prize Pool of Cool.

This particular ladelful of Awesome Stew goes to second place winner :iconcubed1:; bookmark #1 features their character, Jack Masterson, in a fantiddlyastic action pose surrounded by ancient Japanese painting scroll overtones, complete with cherry blossoms! Also features three interchangeable tassle tokens with chibi Jack, ~Ransak-the-Reject's character Kid Kamikaze (the first place winner) and the main boss of Industrial Smash, Neuro!

Originally I was going to have the cherry blossom petals form into blips on a radar screen to emphasize Jack's utilization of futuristic weaponry and strategic thinking, but I think the simplicity of this particular design captures his character better, and is less cluttered .

Apart from some costume discrepancies (because I was an idiot and did the whole thing from memory instead of just looking up a photo reference) involving hair color and Mr. Masterson's trenchcoat, it turned out a heck of a lot better than how I'd thought.
Here's to you, :iconcubed1: , I'll try to get the second set up as soon as possible - unitl then, enjoy saving your place in any book by squashing your character between the pages!

Thankee much!
He is quite the charmer. And smart, to boot!
I am now hopelessly addicted to drawing chibis - those are the cutest little things that have ever oozed out of my brain since the roller-blading cow.

Very nice my friend. I really love the pose you gave him, and the way he's holding the sword is great. Keep it up.

Heh, thanks much. This is the first thing I've ever used my WACOM talbet on, so it's exciting that the results turned out so well.

Was a little worried about the sword stance, I don't think there's a samurai on the planet who would hold their sword that way even for the sake of coolness... but what the hell. X3

Oh, totally cool :D Soooo much personality. I need to get going on my own prizes still >_< I'm sure Cubed and Ransak will greatly appreciate these :) Thanks again for contributing!

Hey, no problem. This whole business really got me back into drawing, it's been a couple of months since I was really in the mood even to doodle.

Actually I've been having trouble getting a hold of Ransak - I don't know if he's just taking a breather from the internet until the tournament giddyness wears off or if my note got lost in the busy information superhighway we call the internet. X3 I'll try again but if he doesn't answer back he might be seeing a lot of "Chibi Kid Kamikaze" pictures popping up. :evillaugh:

See you guys next tournament - thinking of moving Eirik to the OCBZ roster and replacing him in SDL with a different character, he seems to fit in better here.
