My paltry entry for the Sweeny Todd poster contest - it's too bloody dark and it's too bloody big, but we're advertising a big, bloody, dark movie, so I guess that's all quite appropriate.
It's pretty rough for what I'd had in mind, but I've just started using this particular program (Adobe Photo Elements) and I don't really know all the bells and whistles yet.
I was going for a shadow puppet look - the backlight originally was a yellow, firelight sort of color, but it just didn't fit with the mood I was going for, and the movie stresses the color red (kinda like "Dick Tracy"), hence the red gradient. The text is very, very basic - if they want to mess around with that they can, but I ain't touching it.

EDIT: By the way, that's an eyeball and a hand sticking out of the lady's pie - if you see the move or read the story it was based off of, you'll see what I mean.
